Being born in and grew up near Wiesbaden, Germany, Leo Rück later studied chemical engineering in Karlsruhe (at the renowned KIT) and theater, film and media studies at Vienna University, Austria (with a semester abroad: arts du spectacle at Haute Bretagne, Rennes 2, France). Besides the writing and production of his own screenplays, he currently works for a film production company in the area of conception, copywriting and project management. 

Speaks German, English, French and Dutch.
